Exciting things are happening for our Young People and kids at Community Bible Church Assembly of God...

Sunday morning, May 30th at the close of the service Meghan's boy friend Mike accepted Jesus Christ as His personal Lord and Savior and minutes later Allison's boyfriend, Danny also accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. This was their very first visit to CBC and both of these young men came to church with the intent of receiving Jesus Christ. Just a month and a half ago, Ariel's boyfriend PJ also accepted Jesus and has been attending services faithfully ever since!

Three of our teens received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, February 7th, A young man  came forward following the Sunday morning service on February 14th and gave his life to Christ. He spent the night at the home of his pal Joe Gill, and decided this would be the day he would come forward and accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior!

A photo taken 5 years ago appeared recently on the internet showing our Youth Leader, Stu Stryker having a conversation with President Bush two days after Hurricane Katrina occurred. Stu is a member of the United States Coast Guard which were the first on the scene immediately after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.
