The Vision Statement of CBC

VISION STATEMENT

Our desire is to reach our community with the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ. Community Bible Church of the Assemblies of God is a Full Gospel Bible believing church. We believe it's important not only to preach the Word of God but also to be doers of the Word of God.

As an evangelistic church, we will reach out to our community and that with every endeavor that we "might win some" through these outreaches.

At Community Bible Church we believe it's important to get our people grounded in the Word of God by teaching Biblical Foundations that is followed by teaching on the Biblical Authority of the Believer. For every believer to "Desire the Best Gifts" as described in 1 Corinthians 12, balanced by the necessity of "love" being the motivator of all that we do as described in 1 Corinthians 13. We believe everyone that comes to Christ should be Water baptized and that every Christian should accept the Lord's invitation to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit to enjoy a more fulfilling Christian life.

Simply stated our desire is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and with God's help inspire our people to pursue a more active ministry and hopefully see some enter into full time ministry.

About the Eagle...

In Isaiah 40:31 the people of God are likened to Eagles. We learn the benefit of waiting upon the Lord. What is so unique about the Eagle is that it is the only bird that can soar high enough to be above every storm.
